Map application

The pilot version of the Brno Metropolitan Area map application is available under the preview image or under this link (Czech only).

The application includes all relevant statistical data up to the level of municipalities of the whole territory. It is divided into seven main topics. Under each of them, individual phenomena are included, which are divided into time series since 2010 using the “Sections” widget. The user can therefore browse through each year and examine for themselves how they change over time and space, and can also compare them with other phenomena in the application.

Another integral part of the application is the table widget, from which users can filter data for a specific year, municipality or set of municipalities or for a given statistical phenomenon. This data can then be exported in GeoJSON or CSV formats.
